Featuring a 5-link rear suspension for enhanced ride and handling characteristics. The Genesis sedan will offer technologies and conveniences not seen on previous Hyundai models including: Smart Cruise Control (SCC), Adaptive Headlamps, Driver Information System, and a Harman/Becker 17 speaker Lexicon Audio System. Other features include push-button start and electronic stability control.

The Genesis will be equipped with the Tau V8, Hyundai's first complete in-house 8 cylinder engine, allowing acceleration from 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds.
